Jack Jones is in blistering form and AN BRADEN FEASA looks another likely scorer for the yard after a strong recent spell that’s produced four winners and two seconds from nine runners. A four-time hurdle winner, he shaped well in a warm staying handicap here in July before going on to land his next two starts over timber, and that race has since thrown up multiple winners which boosts confidence. His latest outing at Southwell came over a trip too sharp to show him to best effect, so the return to two miles on the all-weather looks ideal, and with the trainer’s team flying he should be highly competitive.

There’s plenty to like about BRAGBOR’s chances at Chelmsford. The Richard Fahey-trained gelding shaped really well in a hot Class 2 at Newcastle last time, travelling strongly and throwing down a serious challenge inside the final furlong before just being edged out by Nebras, a horse with Listed form to his name. Dropping into Class 3 company without any punishment from the handicapper makes this a much more straightforward assignment on paper, and if he reproduces that latest effort he should take plenty of stopping.
