MONSIEUR KODI looks primed to strike in the 7f handicap at Musselburgh after a string of progressive efforts. He’s posted improving Racing Post Ratings of 71, 76 and 81 on his last three runs and was narrowly denied at Catterick last week. A previous winner at the track and now 1lb lower than his Hamilton success in July, he’s well treated and can make the most of this return to a suitable trip.

AIGHEAR has been in fine form recently and looks set to continue her good spell in this Class 6 two-mile handicap at Musselburgh. The seven-year-old mare won back-to-back races at Ayr before a solid runner-up effort over this trip at Newbury last time. She’s clearly thriving for Jim Goldie and should go close again if maintaining her current level.
