Although up 9lb for that effort, he should improve from his seasonal reappearance, and the ground is likely to suit him again. He looks well-placed to take this before a spring campaign.

Now rated 151 and with the stable in great form, he’s of strong interest. A recent pipe-opener in the Haldon Gold Cup saw him finish a respectable third, and this looks a more achievable assignment.
