With that in mind, it would be no surprise to see him run a big each way race here.

TWIG looks a big price in the Becher. He comes here after a confidence-boosting win at Sandown and is only 1lb higher than for that success. While the race he won wasn’t strong, it showed he’s in good form, and he also ran a respectable tenth in last season’s Grand National over these fences. He’s more than capable of getting involved at these odds.

His Cheltenham comeback was a shade underwhelming, but if he isn’t still well treated off this mark, it’s hard to know what would be. He should go very close.
