SERENITY DREAM - 9/4
Serenity Dream looks well placed to continue his excellent record at Kempton and can gain a deserved success after going close over course and distance last time. Tony Carroll’s five-year-old has proven particularly effective on Polytrack and his overall profile at this venue now reads very well, with two wins and a narrow second from his last three appearances here.
His latest effort over this trip can be marked up slightly, as he travelled strongly throughout and only gave best late on, shaping like the most likely winner for much of the contest. That performance confirmed he remains in good form and crucially, he runs here off the same mark, suggesting he still has a little bit in hand in this grade if things fall his way.
The return to a strongly-run six furlongs at Kempton looks ideal given his ability to travel comfortably and quicken off a solid pace. Rossa Ryan is a positive booking and from a workable draw he should be able to adopt a prominent position without expending too much energy early on.
Amazonian Dream is respected if bouncing back to his earlier course form, while Invincible Speed and Em Four both bring bits of recent form that give them each-way claims. However, Serenity Dream looks the most solid option in the race given his consistency at the track and his current level of performance.
Verdict: With an excellent C&D record, strong recent form and conditions again in his favour, SERENITY DREAM looks the most reliable option and is taken to go one better as today’s NAP.
