Where To Watch Manchester City v Al-Hilal

Manchester City v Al-Hilal will kick off at 02:00 UK time on Tuesday 1st July. The match will be played at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida and will be televised live in the United Kingdom on Channel 5 and DAZN.

FIFA Club World Cup Form

Manchester City topped Group G with a perfect three wins from three. Pep Guardiola’s side defeated Wydad Casablanca (2-0) and Al-Ain (6-0) before really stamping their authority on the competition with a 5-2 win against Italian giants Juventus in their final group game.

Al-Hilal, managed by Simone Inzaghi, also came through the group stage unbeaten. The Saudis earned draws against Euripean sides Real Madrid (1-1) and Red Bull Salzburg (0-0) before securing a place in the last-16 with a 2-0 win over Mexican side Pachuca. Al-Hilal’s success so far has been built on a solid defence with just one goal conceded across three group games.

Team News

Manchester City

Claudio Echeverri remains sidelined with an ankle injury, while Rico Lewis has now served his suspension and is eligible for selection. Mateo Kovacic is unavailable due to an Achilles issue. Erling Haaland, who scored off the bench against Juventus, is expected to return to the starting XI, supported by Doku and Savinho.

Predicted XI: Ederson; Nunes, Akanji, Gvardiol, Ait-Nouri; Rodri, Bernardo Silva, Reijnders; Doku, Haaland, Savinho

Al-Hilal

Star forward and captain Salem Al-Dawsari has been ruled out with a hamstring injury. Midfielder Mohamed Kanno is likely to retain his place after replacing Al-Dawsari against Pachuca. Ex-Man City defender Joao Cancelo and Kalidou Koulibaly lead a familiar-looking backline.

Predicted XI: Bono; Cancelo, Tambakti, Koulibaly, Lodi; Neves, Kanno, Milinkovic-Savic; Nasser Al-Dawsari, Malcom, Leonardo

EveryTip.com Betting Tips

The absence of talisman Al-Dawsari is a real blow for Al-Hilal whilst Manchester City have won their last five matches by at least two goals and are starting to build real momentum at the FIFA Club World Cup. Manchester City -2 in the Handicap market looks great value at 21/20 with Betnero.

Manchester City scored inside the opening 10 minutes in all three of their group stage matches and we’re tipping Pep Guardiola’s side to fly out of the blocks once more in Orlando. BoyleSports is offering odds of 10/3 on Manchester City to be leading after 9:59 minutes which seems too good to turn down.

Jeremy Doku was an unused substitute in Man City’s 6-0 group stage win over Al-Ain but the in-form Belgian has netted in both games in which he’s featured in the tournament so far including the opener in last week’s 5-2 rout of Juventus. Whilst Haaland seems the obvious choice if looking for a goalscorer, Doku offers excellent value and serves as a great alternative. You can back Doku to score at any time at 41/20 with BetMGM whilst Doku is priced at 8/1 with Betfred to score first for a second straight match.

Despite Rico Lewis’ red card on matchday two, Manchester City boasts on of the tournament’s best disciplinary records with just one further booking to account for in three group games. Al-Hilal have racked up five yellow cards in total but three of those bookings came in the dying minutes against Real Madrid whilst hanging onto a point. Whilst Bet442’s 12/5 for Al-Hilal to pick up the most cards, we prefer the 13/20 on offer for under 4.5 cards in the match with Unibet.
