AJA Novice Flat Amateur Jockeys' Handicap (For Riders With 3 Wins Or Fewer At Start Of Season)
DESTINADO - 9/2
Destinado could be worth chancing in a tricky amateur riders’ contest, especially now returning to 1m4f on turf. A course winner last season, he’s slipped to a workable mark and shaped better than the bare result suggests in recent outings. His last win came off 3lbs lower at Doncaster in March and the application of blinkers once more hints at a positive return to tactics that previously worked well. If ridden prominently, he might just dictate matters under the promising Teagan Padgett.
Fiddlers Green heads the market after scoring in an apprentice race at Kempton last week. He escapes a penalty for that success and is clearly a danger, especially if getting an uncontested lead. Made All has been ultra-consistent since joining Sam England’s yard and is closely matched with the favourite on recent form, while Stellarmasterpiece is a dual C&D winner who could bounce back if the rain arrives.
Verdict: DESTINADO looks a value play if bouncing back to his Doncaster form and could outstay rivals in a wide-open contest. Fiddlers Green and Made All set the standard, while Stellarmasterpiece shouldn’t be dismissed back at a favoured track.

BetWright Bangers N'Cash Mares' Maiden Hurdle (GBB Race)
NEVER TOLD ME - 7/2
Never Told Me shaped with promise in a strong Cheltenham bumper back in April, travelling smoothly into contention before fading late in a race that’s worked out well. That was her first run since wind surgery and marked a sharp step forward from her low-key debut. Now under the care of Fergal O’Brien and sent hurdling for the first time, she looks one of the more interesting contenders in a race lacking depth and standout form.
Hot favourite Joueuse Royale sets the bar based on her consistent Irish hurdles record and respectable British debut, while Appleshaw remains a danger after two runner-up efforts, including a fair Market Rasen run last time. Chips And Rice took a step forward at Stratford and might go close if building again, though cheekpieces now return.
Verdict: NEVER TOLD ME is open to plenty of improvement on her first start over hurdles and looks a value alternative to short-priced favourite Joueuse Royale. Appleshaw should be in the mix once more, while Chips And Rice holds each-way claims after a recent revival.

Novacast Dont Come Last Handicap (Bath Summer Sprint Series Qualifier)
NOT JUST YET - 18/1
Not Just Yet has been frustrating to follow, but there are reasons to believe today could be the day. He’s dropped to a handy mark based on his stronger all-weather efforts over the winter and shaped as though the run would bring him on when fifth over 5f here last month. Back up to 5½f and reunited with Saffie Osborne, who’s gone close on him before, he could thrive if the pace collapses late on in a wide-open low-grade sprint.
Rogue Endeavour is an obvious danger, having been consistent in similar events and better than the result last time when too keen dropped to 5f. Sisters In The Sky returns to Class 6 company after a tough Newbury assignment and rates a threat if bouncing back. Big Time Rascal is holding form well and remains competitive, while Midnight Call may yet improve for a yard well represented in this.
Verdict: NOT JUST YET looks overpriced in a race where few arrive with solid credentials. Rogue Endeavour and Sisters In The Sky are capable of playing a part, while Big Time Rascal continues to hold his form.

Ken Boulton Memorial (For The Ken Boulton Memorial Trophy) Handicap Hurdle
CALLIN BATON ROUGE - 7/2
Callin Baton Rouge made a welcome return to form when scoring over 2m4f at this track last month, travelling strongly and quickening clear in good style. A 6lbs rise looks manageable given the authority of that success and the drop back to 2m shouldn't inconvenience a mare who has shown versatility in trip. She previously completed a hat-trick over hurdles last summer and now looks primed to build on that recent win for the in-form Pogson team.
Soleil d'Arizona is bidding for a third win from four starts since wind surgery and made all in gutsy fashion at Warwick, while Forget The Way remains respected on his return from a break under regular pilot Alex Chadwick. Dog Fox caught the eye when second at Bangor after a layoff and Crown Of India is unexposed over hurdles following a recent maiden win.
Verdict: CALLIN BATON ROUGE looked to have something in hand here last time and can follow up back at this venue. Soleil d’Arizona and Forget The Way rate the main dangers, while Dog Fox could be sharper for his recent outing.

5th Regiment Royal Artillery Handicap
CHUTI MANIKA - 6/1
Chuti Manika hasn’t managed to get his head back in front since landing a maiden over 7f at this track a year ago, but his recent efforts suggest that a breakthrough could be close. He was narrowly denied at Ayr in June by a subsequent winner and shaped with promise again at Nottingham 11 days ago when fitted with cheekpieces for the first time. That headgear is retained and he drops slightly in grade today with Joe Fanning back on board for a yard that knows how to exploit course form.
Wheels Of Fire heads the market following a strong third at Goodwood and looks solid back up to 6f, while Dothan has been shaping like a winner-in-waiting since his Doncaster success in the spring. Ancient Times continues to defy his advancing years with a consistent campaign and can’t be ruled out if repeating his latest C&D win.
Verdict: CHUTI MANIKA is worth siding with at the prices, having hinted at a return to form on recent starts and now returning to a track where he's previously won. Wheels Of Fire and Dothan are respected, while Ancient Times adds depth in a competitive sprint.

Floyds Turfcare And Weed Solutions Handicap
BLUE HERO - 11/4
Blue Hero has an excellent record at Bath and looks poised to add another C&D success to his name. The seven-year-old has shaped well on both starts this summer, including a luckless fourth here last month when repeatedly denied a clear run. He again caught the eye over 1m2f on his latest outing and this return to 1m looks ideal. With Joe Leavy claiming a useful 5lbs, he can capitalise on a workable mark at a venue where he’s consistently delivered.
Fact Or Fable is respected after a narrow win over C&D, though now steps back up in class. Rebel Cove continues to run well in similar races and may again be thereabouts, while Oasis Sunrise stays on the shortlist despite her winless record.
Verdict: BLUE HERO has been knocking on the door and can finally get his reward at his favoured track. Rebel Cove and Fact Or Fable look the main threats.
6:50 Killarney
Irish Stallion Farms EBF Cairn Rouge Stakes (Listed Race) (Fillies)
RED LETTER - EVS
Red Letter brings the strongest form to the table and is expected to take full advantage of this Listed opportunity. A Group 1 Moyglare fourth last year, she shaped well in the 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket before finishing second in a fillies’ Listed event at Navan last month, beaten under three lengths after conceding first run to the winner. With Colin Keane booked again and this representing a slight ease in grade, she sets the standard on ratings and has the class edge, even if soft ground is a new test.
Fiery Lucy has Group form and wasn’t seen to best effect at the Curragh last time, while Ecstatic also drops in trip after failing to stay in the Ribblesdale. Orchidaceae is progressive and could go well at a price on her first try at 1m, while And So To Bed appeals as a minor place contender if returning to her Gowran form.
Verdict: RED LETTER has performed well in deeper company and holds the clearest claims on form. If handling the ground, she should take this en route to stronger targets. Fiery Lucy and Ecstatic look the most likely to chase her home.

BAMA LAMA - 7/1
Bama Lama looks poised to strike after bouncing back to form at Chepstow last time, finishing a close third behind a subsequent winner. She’s a proven performer at Ffos Las, boasting two wins and two seconds from four runs over this C&D and any easing in the ground will only enhance her claims. Now back down to a mark of 52 and reunited with George Wood, she’s a strong contender in a very winnable race.
Roach Power has been threatening to break through this summer and rates the main danger if the forecast rain materialises. Cabeza De Llave ran well at Windsor and remains competitive off just 1lb higher, while Punchbowl Flyer showed signs of life on return and is one to watch if building on that effort.
Verdict: BAMA LAMA’s C&D record is rock solid and with conditions likely to suit, she can make the most of her current mark. Roach Power and Cabeza De Llave are respected threats in a tightly matched sprint.

BEGGARMAN - 4/6
Beggarman finally broke his turf duck at the 20th attempt with an emphatic victory over 1m6f here last month, finishing strongly to score with something in hand. That form looks solid in the context of this small-field handicap and the return to 2m should pose no problem for a stayer who’s often threatened in similar company. He’s gone up 5lbs for that success but still looks well treated and with confidence restored, he’s the one to beat under David Probert.
Adrian is the clear danger after chasing home Beggarman’s stablemate here over C&D 16 days ago. He’s well handicapped on old form and arrives in better shape than most of his stable companions. Mind Hunter has shown more over hurdles than on the Flat and has work to do to reverse recent form with Adrian, while Indigo Times remains hard to assess after a long absence.
Verdict: BEGGARMAN looked a different horse when scoring here last time and can follow up against a weaker field. Adrian is next best, while Mind Hunter might improve if building on his recent hurdles form.

RESPIRO SOLITARIO - 8/1
Respiro Solitario is going the right way and can build on his recent Wolverhampton success now back on turf. He made all over 1m4f that day, drawing clear with authority and suggesting this trip suits him perfectly. Prior to that, he finished a strong third at Leicester, finishing best of all over 1m2f on good to firm ground. A 6lbs rise for the win looks fair and with further progress likely at this distance, he rates the biggest threat to the short-priced favourite.
Whatsgoingonmarvin is flying, having landed back-to-back wins at Ayr and Chester in the past week, but this will be his third run in nine days and the drop back in trip could make him vulnerable late on. Of the others, Magic Runner has been consistent enough in defeat and Honour Whim remains unexposed at the trip with cheekpieces tried.
Verdict: RESPIRO SOLITARIO produced a dominant display over this trip last time and is open to more improvement. Whatsgoingonmarvin sets the standard but may be vulnerable late on after a busy spell.
8:40 Yarmouth
DARING LEGEND - 13/8
Daring Legend has been knocking firmly on the door and can gain deserved compensation after a string of near misses. Runner-up on his last three starts, including over C&D in May when beaten narrowly by a subsequent Ascot winner, he continues to run to a high level in defeat and looks well treated off the same mark. With Mason Paetel back on board claiming 5lbs, this could finally be his day.
Stardancer ran with credit on his handicap debut at Doncaster and looks the most progressive in the line-up, while Noble Guest may appreciate returning to 7f after not staying over a mile. North View has claims if bouncing back on his third start for George Boughey.
Verdict: DARING LEGEND holds the most consistent recent form and this looks a golden opportunity to get back to winning ways. Stardancer and Noble Guest head the dangers.

ZAMBEZI MAGIC - 10/3
With this race confined to 2025 maidens, it’s no surprise to see lightly raced three-year-old Maundy Thursday heading the market, but at a short price she looks opposable. Her form is modest and while she shaped better last time when making the running over further, the drop to 1m2f may not be ideal.
A more reliable option is Zambezi Magic, who won this race 12 months ago and has four C&D victories to his name. Although clearly not the force of old, he’s shown enough this season to suggest another win might not be far away, especially now that the hood returns for the first time in over a year. Conditions suit and he should get a good tow into the race from likely pace angles like Lawn Ranger.
Warrior Lion is 0-23 but showed signs of life at Doncaster and remains unexposed for his current yard. Beaune may also figure if bouncing back from a below-par effort, while Racing Demon is back to a winnable mark but hard to trust.
Verdict: Preference is for proven course specialist ZAMBEZI MAGIC, who won this last year and looks primed for another bold bid. Warrior Lion could be the value each-way play, while Maundy Thursday is worth opposing at short odds.
