Cudawudashuda 7/1
Dylan Browne McMonagle/M M Rice
Live price from Betfred
CUDAWUDASHUDA looks to have been given a fair chance by the handicapper and could finally get his head in front now making his nursery debut from a mark of 59. The two-year-old has been knocking on the door lately, finishing a close fourth at Naas before going down by just half a length to Shesthedevil at Fairyhouse. He might well have won that latest race had he kept a straight line in the closing stages, so there was a bit more to the performance than the result suggests. He's now joined Michael Rice after four starts for Ger Lyons, and this looks a sensible opportunity to get him off the mark. The drop into 0-60 company should make life easier, while the yielding-to-soft ground holds no fears after his encouraging Naas effort on yielding. Dylan Browne McMonagle takes over and stall four looks a decent position in this 12-runner field. Littlepacer is an obvious danger, but Cudawudashuda brings some of the strongest recent form into the race. He's still learning his trade, but an opening mark of 59 looks workable and he won't need to find a great deal more to win a nursery of this standard.

Moon Over Miami 4/1
Rossa Ryan/Ralph Beckett
Live price from Bet365
MOON OVER MIAMI looks to have a cracking chance of reversing the form with Maxident, and I reckon Pontefract's stiff 2m2f could be just what Ralph Beckett's gelding has been crying out for. He was beaten 2¾ lengths by Maxident at Goodwood last time, but the way he stayed on suggested there was more to come over a greater stamina test. Crucially, he's now 4lb better off with that rival, and the extra two furlongs around one of the stiffest tracks in the country could make all the difference. There's a decent handicapping argument too. Moon Over Miami remains on 88, having started the season from 93, and his peak RPR of 101 suggests he's capable of better than his current mark. He also carries 9st 9lb, with Rossa Ryan taking over for the first time. The ground is good to soft, soft in places, which should suit given his excellent Goodwood effort came with plenty of ease underfoot. In The Breeze is a serious danger after his Haydock second, but he's not exactly Mr Reliable and Maxident has another question to answer over this longer trip. Moon Over Miami has had 50 days to freshen up since Goodwood and, if he finishes as strongly as he did there, the famous Pontefract hill could turn into a rather unpleasant experience for those trying to hold him off.

The Feminine Urge 28/1
Seamus Cronin(3)/Grace Harris
Live price from 7Bet
THE FEMININE URGE hasn't exactly been a punter's dream lately, but at a big price I'm prepared to forgive her latest disappointment and give her another chance. Grace Harris' four-year-old is now down to a mark of 54, a full 12lb below her last winning rating, and there's enough recent form to suggest she's not completely forgotten how to race. She was beaten only narrowly at Lingfield in July from 2lb higher and went close again at Bath two starts ago, finishing runner-up to Rinky Tinky Tinky. Her latest Bath effort was disappointing, but dropping into Class 6 company should make life easier. She's also been given a real chance by the handicapper, while Seamus Cronin's 3lb claim takes a little more weight off her back. There are more obvious contenders, particularly the in-form Macarone, but The Feminine Urge doesn't need to rediscover anything extraordinary to get involved from this rating. She's tested the patience of her supporters often enough, and another poor run might have them reaching for the divorce papers. However, with her mark continuing to fall and recent evidence that she can still compete, she looks worth chancing at a big price.
